Maddie's Favorite Color

Madelynn was sitting on the dining room table coloring with colored pencils.  I picked up a blue colored pencil and asked her, "What color is this?"

Maddie answered, "Bue."

I picked up a red colored pencil and asked her, "What color is this one?"

Maddie answered, "Bue."

I responded, "Do these look the same?!"

Maddie answered, "Yeah."

I think we have some work to do.
