At 11:19pm, a group of Chinese exchange students will be arriving at SeaTac airport. They'll spend the night at a hotel, sleep in, and then enjoy a tour of Olympia with their group before arriving at the church to meet their host families. We are one of the host families and will be bringing home twin boys, age 12. They'll be here just shy of two weeks.
Much of their time here is already full. Most mornings, they will have English class at the church. Their afternoons are filled with a variety of field trips: a Mariner's game, the Museum of Flight, Microsoft, and a local family fun center. They'll have two full day field trips: one day in Seattle (Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Seattle Center) and one day at Tillicum Village and Blake Island. We'll have evenings and weekends with them.
We're all looking forward to their visit, especially my boys.
