Homeschool Distractions: Playing with Gimp

I am a homeschooling mom of four wonderful blessings and Master Playologist with SimplyFun. I'm known for my distractedness, thus the title of my blog. It's about all of the distractions in life: those that are part of homeschooling, those that distract from our homeschooling day, and everything in between. I love everything that comes with staying at home and homeschooling the kids and wouldn't trade it for anything. I love helping others and hope to encourage parents to spend time connecting with and getting to know their kids better. Playing with Gimp

Inspired by Pioneer Woman, I decided to spend some time playing with Gimp, the poor person's Photoshop. I've never taken the time to learn how to use this program other than cropping and resizing. I had fun playing just a little with the color this morning while Madelynn slept in my lap.
The original photo leaves her looking purple and cold.

I tried warming her up a bit.

I also improved the lighting and tried some black and white. None of us are decided on which version we like best. Which do you like?
