We have a nice park just over two miles from our house that has a decent playground, lots of grassy fields, and a fishing pond exclusively reserved for youth fishing. We spent part of our morning there before coming home to have lunch and play.
Here are the big kids just starting out.

After a little while, I headed up to the playground with the littles while the big kids continued to fish.
No trip to the playground is complete without swings for Madelynn.
The fish weren't biting, and Madelynn was melting down for need of a nap. So, we headed home after about an hour and a half. The big kids are happy to have a place to fish so close to home. Maybe some day, they'll catch something.
