For quite a while now, Josh has shown a strong preference for me over Scott. Normally, I might be flattered but it usually comes into play when he needs a diaper change.
It started like this:
Scott: Joshua, do you need a diaper?
Josh: Yeah.
Scott: Who do you want to change it? Me or Mommy?
Josh (pointing to me): Mama
Then it evolved to this:
Scott: Joshua, do you need a diaper?
Josh (laying down in the diaper changing spot): Mama.
Recently, we experienced this:
Scott: Joshua, do you need a diaper?
Josh (with emphasis): No!
Me (immediately after): Josh, do you need a diaper?
Josh (laying down): Yeah.

HA! I think you should definitely start taking longer and being more annoying when you change those diapies! Make that boy want his Daddy. LOL
I say Scott gets to do all the new baby diapers from day one, so there won't be a repeat of this type of preference with the new baby.
