Boxes, Boxes, Everywhere

We're moving Saturday!  We're all very excited but this has been a busy and stressful experience.  I don't know how we'll get everything ready by Saturday with all the other stuff going on this week, too.  We'll do the best we can.  I'm starting to care less about how stuff gets in the box or boxing by categories.  I'm sure by Thursday, I'll be in dump mode.  It's crazy, I tell ya.  I don't ever want to do this again, but living in a rental means I probably will have to anyway.  At least, we have a 2 year lease.  My goal will be to put everything away in a nice organized manner and start slowly buying real furniture and storage solutions so that next time it will be easier.

This is our school room.  There isn't any schooling being done in there this week!

My daughter's room has also been a box storage room.  She's been sleeping with me for a couple of weeks.

My husband's office space has become another storage area.

I still have packing to do in the bathroom, kitchen, boys room, and master bedroom...not counting little odds and ends here and there that are essential needs and can't be packed.  I've been working on packing for 3 weeks now.  Unfortunately, my free time for packing has been limited.  Now that we are down to the wire, the kids have to tough it out more.  Poor Maddie is having a hard time coping, and we think she's teething on top of it all.

This weekend we'll get to begin a new kind of chaos...unpacking and figuring out where everything is going to fit.  I hope to get the bulk of it down in just 17 days because I go out of town for 4 days the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Then I get back and start prepping for Thanksgiving.  We are so excited to be having friends join us for the day even if things are still chaotic.

Hopefully, by Thanksgiving, we'll be settled and able to enjoy the holidays...if I can figure out where the tree will be going in the new house.  Josh is voting for Mika's room like we did last year.
