Homeschool Distractions: 9 Year Old Boy

I am a homeschooling mom of four wonderful blessings and Master Playologist with SimplyFun. I'm known for my distractedness, thus the title of my blog. It's about all of the distractions in life: those that are part of homeschooling, those that distract from our homeschooling day, and everything in between. I love everything that comes with staying at home and homeschooling the kids and wouldn't trade it for anything. I love helping others and hope to encourage parents to spend time connecting with and getting to know their kids better. 9 Year Old Boy

Wow! Sam is 9 years old today. It's hard to believe that he's so grown up already. Wasn't he just born yesterday?

Sam is our miracle child. A beautiful baby who didn't like to be held much. A toddler with so much frustration. A preschooler who couldn't communicate. But, with some dietary help, he overcame all that. Now, he's a best friend. A big brother. A delightful son. An awesome student. A math whiz.

We're proud of our oldest son. Happy Birthday Sam!
